Sandra Oudkirk Assumes Duties as US Chargé d’Affaires in Ukraine

Sandra Oudkirk has assumed the role of Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Kyiv, starting her duties on July 8. A Senior Foreign Service member with over 30 years of diplomatic experience, Oudkirk previously served in roles at the US Department of Defense and as Director of the American Institute in Taiwan. She succeeds Julie Davis, who concluded her diplomatic mission as the acting head of the embassy in Ukraine on June 27.
