Samsung opens India HVAC line to tap AI data center demand

Samsung Electronics said Thursday it has opened a new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning production line in India, expanding its manufacturing capacity as it targets growing demand from AI data centers. The new facility in Pune, Maharashtra state, will be able to produce up to 6,500 HVAC units annually once fully operational, the company said. It will operate alongside FlaktGroup’s existing production site in Noida and serve customers in India as well as the broader Asia-Pacific region. S
