Saif Ali Khan stabbing incident: Accused Mohammad Shariful Islam seeks to plead guilty

The Bangladeshi national accused in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case has approached the court. Mohammad Shariful Islam expressed his willingness to plead guilty and sought leniency. The court has asked the prosecution to file its reply and adjourned the hearing. Charges were framed against Islam under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
