S. Korea reaches round of 16 at U-17 Women's Volleyball World Championship

Asian champion South Korea advanced to the round of 16 at the 2026 FIVB U-17 Women's Volleyball World Championship. South Korea, coached by Lee Seung-yeo, defeated the Dominican Republic 3-1 (25-18, 21-25, 25-19, 25-17) in its fourth Group D match Monday in Los Andes, Chile. After earlier victories over Puerto Rico, Taiwan and Italy, South Korea improved to 4-0 and remained atop Group D. The victory secured South Korea a place in the round of 16 regardless of the result of its final group match
