Russian Strikes Target Kharkiv High-Rises, Odesa and Pavlohrad, Killing 2

A weekend wave of Russian attacks struck multiple Ukrainian regions. On Sunday morning, Aug. 9, drone strikes targeted high-rise residential buildings in Kharkiv’s Saltivka district, destroying several floors, killing two people, and leaving residents trapped. Also, ballistic missiles hit Odesa, injuring at least eight and damaging infrastructure. On Aug. 8 evening, strikes on Pavlohrad injured nine, including four children, while guided aerial bombs injured several in Izium.
