Russian Strikes on Kryvyi Rih and Kyiv Leave 1 Dead, Over 15 Injured

Russian forces launched combined ballistic missile and drone attacks on Kryvyi Rih and Kyiv early Sunday morning, Aug. 16. In Kryvyi Rih, strikes on industrial facilities left one person dead and 13 injured, while a separate attack in the Nikopol district injured another individual. In Kyiv, missile strikes caused fires and damage in the Obolonskyi and Holosiivskyi districts, injuring two people.
