Russian Strikes Devastate Metinvest’s Zaporizhstal Factory, Epicentr Mall in Zaporizhzhia

Successive Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia have severely damaged Ukraine’s industrial and retail sectors. Overnight Aug. 10-11, a ballistic missile strike killed seven workers and forced a complete shutdown of Metinvest’s Zaporizhstal steel plant. Early on Aug. 12, a Russian strike destroyed an Epicentr shopping centre in a residential area, causing a massive fire.
