Russian FPV Drone Developer Critically Injured in Car Bombing Near Yekaterinburg

Vladimir Tkachuk, general director of Uraldronzavod and developer of the Upyr FPV attack drone used by Russian forces in Ukraine, was critically injured in a car bombing near Yekaterinburg on Wednesday, Aug. 5, Russian media reported. Investigators have opened a criminal case for attempted murder. Tkachuk is currently in intensive care in critical condition. He also runs a pro-war Telegram channel with over 660,000 subscribers.
