Russia Strikes Ukraine's Largest Toy Retailer, Other Major Retail Chains

Russian drones and missiles hit Ukraine's largest retail and industrial companies on Thursday, Aug. 27, killing at least one person and injuring five. Warehouses run by Budynok Ihrashok, Fora, Roshen, Comfy, and Aurora were damaged, along with an Epicentr store and a Shchaslyve Kurcha poultry farm in Kharkiv. The Zaporizhstal steel plant also took its second missile strike in weeks after an Aug. 11 attack killed seven workers.
