Runway run in Waterloo Region helps fund medical flights to remote communities

Mission Aviation Fellowship had raised more than $16,000 as of Saturday, surpassing its $12,000 fundraising goal. The organization said the money will help fund medical evacuation flights, which can cost roughly $600 to $1,000 each depending on the distance and circumstances.
