Romanian President Nicusor Dan shaken by revelations about his security chief

General Lucian Pahontu, head of the Service de Protection et de Garde Rapprochée (SPP), is a former lieutenant of the Securitate, the Romanian communist regime's secret police and was reportedly present during the crackdown on the June 1990 protests.
