Robby’s Back: ‘The Pitt’ Offers Up First Look at Season 3

Logo text It was hardly a secret that Noah Wyle’s Dr. Robby would return to The Pitt in season three — Wyle, after all, is the show’s lead and an executive producer. The question, rather, was whether it would be soon after Robby finished a sabbatical or a while later. The first teaser for the Emmy-winning HBO Max drama answers that question: It’s Robby’s first day back, and it appears he still has some things to work through. Robby is not the first person seen or heard in the teaser, however. Instead, Shawn Hatosy’s Dr. Jack Abbot is rallying his night shift crew to clear the big board before the dayside takes over. “Robby’s name is on the schedule — is he finally back?” Dr. Shen (Ken Kirby asks), to which Abbot replies, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Watch the teaser below.
