Road blockade staged in Bhadrachalam against Central government’s labour, farm policies

Scores of CITU, AIKS and AIAWU activists staged a road blockade at the Bridge Centre in Bhadrachalam on Monday as part of a nationwide protest called by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) and the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) against what they described as the ‘anti-labour and anti-farmer’ policies of the Central government.The protesters raised slogans in support of their demands, including repeal of the four labour codes and the VB-G RAM G Act.
