Rituals continue for Siddhavateswara temple flagstaff
Special rituals associated with the consecration of the new Dhwajastambham (flagstaff) continued on Sunday (August 30), the second day of the event, at the Sri Kamakshi Sametha Siddhavateswara Swamy Temple in Siddhavatam, adopted by the Sri Bhramarambha Mallikarjuna Swamy temple at Srisailam.In the morning at 8:00 a.m., Veda Parayanam (vedic chanting), Navagraha Japam, and the chanting of the Shiva Panchakshari were performed. Subsequently, the Dhwaja Mantra Punascharana (ritual repetition of the flagstaff mantra) was conducted in accordance with scriptural guidelines until 12:00 p.m. In the evening, starting from 4:30 p.m, havanams (sacrificial fire rituals) dedicated to the presiding deity and further Veda Parayanam sessions were held.
