THREE-TIME Commonwealth Games medallist Michaela Walsh finally steps between the ropes in Glasgow on Wednesday afternoon.The west Belfast woman, alongside brother Aidan, brought home gold from Birmingham four years ago, but has had to wait in the wings during the five days of competition so far.Twelve years on from her first Commonwealths, also in Glasgow, the 33-year-old enters the 2026 fray against Scotland’s Lara Brown, who is sure to have a big support inside the SEC Centre.
