Reds sign former Braves All-Star shortstop with .661 OPS

The Cincinnati Reds are not mathematically out of the postseason race, but it will take a lot to get there. While the Reds prepare for the final month of the regular season, they've added a former World Series champion to the organization. The 32-year-old shortstop earned an All-Star selection in 2023 with the Atlanta Braves. According to Cincinnati's Triple-A affiliate, the Reds have signed Orlando Arcia to a minor league deal. Arcia returns from Mexico after a three-game stint in the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico.
