Red Sox trading for All-Star catcher Adley Rutschman at MLB trade deadline

Adley Rutschman is off to an in-division rival. The Orioles traded the All-Star catcher to the Red Sox on deadline day, after reports started Monday morning that the two sides were working on a deal, The Post’s Jon Heyman confirmed. Rutschman will join a surging 60-51 Red Sox team fighting to stay ahead of teams such as the Twins and Rangers in the playoff picture.
