Red Cross cancer hospital construction nears completion in Kakinada: Collector

Indian Red Cross Kakinada Chapter president and Kakinada District Collector M. N. Harendhira Prasad on Wednesday announced that at least 80% of the construction of the Red Cross cancer hospital has been completed in Kakinada city. Addressing the members of the Red Cross during the general body meeting, Mr. Prasad has said that the Red Cross cancer hospital is being built with ₹7.5 crore. Further aid is likely to be received from the public representatives of the Kakinada district to procure medical equipment for the hospital, he said.The District Collector also directed the executive body to speed up the proposed construction of women’s hostel in Kakinada city. Red Cross Kakinada Chapter Secretary K. Siva Kumar shared the services and activities of the chapter during the meeting. Published
