Rainfall likely to continue over next 5 days: BMD

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted that rainfall is likely to continue across Bangladesh over the next five days commencing 9:00am today as the monsoon is fairly active over the country.“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” said a regular bulletin of the Met office.Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.A low-pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay and adjoining West Bengal-North Odisha coasts.
