Racist text sent to Dearica Hamby results in employee's firing

A racist text message screenshot and shared by Los Angeles Sparks star Dearica Hamby has resulted in the sender's dismissal from their position at the medical equipment supplier Acclaro Medical.On Aug. 24, Hamby revealed on social media a text sent to her personal phone number. She asked her 47,000 followers on X for help in identifying the sender, who included their own personal phone number with Florida area code 561.Acclaro Medical was quickly alerted to the text after internet sleuths tracked down the sender's phone number.
