Putin Says Russian Economy Remains Stable Despite Attacks

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia’s economic performance remained positive despite what he described as “terrorist” attacks on infrastructure. Speaking at a meeting on strategic development and national projects on Wednesday, Aug. 19, Putin said damaged logistics and storage facilities required reconstruction and called for measures to support financially strained regions.
