Puerto Rico residents search for water as drought triggers rationing

Residents in San Juan lined up at community wells and water distribution points this week as a deepening drought and government rationing program left thousands of households struggling to obtain enough water for daily needs. This comes as Puerto Rico recently began a rotating water rationing program in response to severe drought conditions, forcing tens of thousands of residents to go without running water for up to 48 hours at a time.
