Pucobre First-Half Profit Jumps 79% on Copper Rally

Chilean copper miner Sociedad Punta del Cobre (Pucobre) reported a 79% surge in first-half net profit to US$100.7 million, as record global copper prices lifted revenue sharply even though EBITDA declined and the company booked hedging losses.
