Public defender cites office closure in bid to delay Las Vegas death penalty trial

Deputy public defender Tyler Gaston asked District Court Judge Jaqueline Bluth to continue the trial of Chad Newman, 34, also citing a scheduling conflict with another capital murder case he is set to try in September.
