Prosecution, defense panels in impeach trial to assess spokesperson issue

MANILA, Philippines — The prosecution and the defense panels in Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial will assess whether or not to to replace their respective spokespersons following Senate impeachment court presiding officer Francis Escudero’s recent decision on the sub judice rule. Escudero on Wednesday made it clear that under Rule 18 of the Rules of
