Politicians from across the spectrum have condemned the violence in Belfast overnight, with the Prime Minister calling it ‘shocking and unacceptable’. Reform Leader Nigel Farage criticised what he termed ‘bad actors’, but went on to insist that the vast majority of those on the streets were neither far right, nor extremists.
