Portuguese author Lídia Jorge honoured with prestigious Austrian Literary Award

Renowned Portuguese novelist Lídia Jorge has been awarded the 2026 Austrian State Prize for European Literature, one of Europe’s most respected literary honours recognising outstanding contributions to contemporary European writing.
