Portugal registers moderate tourism growth

On the basis of its analysis of official data for the first six months of 2026 obtained from INE, the Bank of Portugal, and Turismo de Portugal, the National Association of Travel Agencies (ANAV) has concluded that the national tourism sector is still following a path of growth, refuting recent theories which had predicted a general downturn.
