Pope Leo XIV appoints new Bishop of the Algarve

Pope Leo XIV appointed Vitorino Soares, previously an auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Porto, as the new Bishop of the Algarve, succeeding Manuel Neto Quintas. Quintas resigned after reaching the age limit.
