POLLS HAVE CLOSED in one of the most bizarre byelections the UK has ever seen, with Reform UK leader Nigel Farage hoping to retain his seat in Clacton. His main rival is Count Binface, a satirical candidate and self-styled “intergalactic space warrior”, due to the fact that none of the UK’s main political parties stood a candidate when Farage triggered the byelection by resigning last month.
