Pollok home hid £189k cannabis farm operation

A man was snared with a £189,000 cannabis farm. Van Le, 35, was caught by police at the property in Glasgow's Pollok on October 22 2025. Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that officers entered the property to find a cannabis cultivation inside and arrested Le. It was discovered that there were five growing rooms which included an attic space. Also found in the rooms were drug paraphernalia such as an extractor fan and thermostats. A total of 219 samplings were seen in the attic space which had not matured into full cannabis plants. Prosecutor Josh Dowie said: "There were a total of 316 cannabis plants with a value between £63,200 and £189,600. "The samplings were valued at £1,095."
