A Merseyside Police spokesperson said, at some point between 11pm last night (Monday, July 6) and 8.50am this morning (July 7), there was a break-in at Castle Bingo on Stanley Road.‌Cash was taken and an investigation is ongoing to find the suspects. CCTV and potential witness enquiries are being carried out. A statement on the Castle Bingo Bootle Facebook page, posted just after 11am this morning, said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Bootle club is temporarily closed.‌"Please keep an eye on this page for any update."
