Police raid uncovers nearly £1.5m worth of cannabis inside Sunderland property

The cost of the illegal goods totals close to £1.5million in value.‌Acting on intelligence, police officers forced entry to the address on Nora Street in the High Barnes area of Sunderland on Tuesday, June 30th. Once inside, officers searched the property and located upwards of 1,474 plants at various stages of growth.‌They have since estimated the value of the plants once fully grown and equipment seized at close to £1.5million.
