Police issue update after boy, 16, arrested on suspicion of murder of woman in Burnage
NewsGreater Manchester NewsBurnageAnn Teague died at a property on Ivylea Road12:25, 13 Jul 2026A 16 year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a woman in south Manchester has been released on bail, police have confirmed.Officers from Greater Manchester Police, along with paramedics, were called to Ivylea Road in Burnage following reports of an assault at a house at around 8am last Wednesday (July 8). Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders and has been named as Ann Teague.The teenager was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
