Police issue major update one month after human remains discovered next to M67

Road workers made the tragic discovery near a bridge between junctions three at Hyde and four at Hattersley on Monday. August 3.‌The motorway remained closed eastbound the following day as officers and forensics investigators carried out enquiries. Greater Manchester Police later confirmed that the remains were believed to belong to a man aged between 20 and 28.‌He was thought to have been between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 9ins tall, and of medium build.
