Police in haz-mat suits swarm Stockport street after 'liquid drugs lab' arrests

Two arrests were made at Salford Quays in Salford16:55, 24 Aug 2026Updated 16:55, 24 Aug 2026Police and firefighters wearing hazardous materials suits are carrying out searches of a commercial unit on a street in Stockport over the suspected production of 'liquid drugs'.‌Two men aged in their 20s have been arrested in Salford Quays, Salford, in connection with the discovery of the suspected drugs lab in Stockport, Greater Manchester Police said.‌Both men were held on suspicion of the exportation of Class A and B drugs, and they both remained in custody for questioning on Tuesday afternoon.
