Police Examine US$461 Million in Americanas Ex-CEO’s Accounts

Federal Police analysis of bank records belonging to former Americanas chief executive Miguel Gutierrez shows R$2.342 billion in total movements over more than eleven years, according to investigation documents disclosed by Brazilian press on 2 August 2026. The charge filed by federal prosecutors against him in March 2025 has still not been accepted by the court.
