Police arrest two youths for selling ganja, Tapentadol tablets

Two youths were arrested for allegedly possessing and selling ganja and Tapentadol tablets during a special anti-narcotics drive conducted by Old Guntur police on Tuesday. Police seized 1.1 kg of ganja, 90 Tapentadol tablets and ₹9,000 in cash from their possession.Guntur Superintendent of Police (SP) Vakul Jindal, in a press release on Tuesday, said that acting on specific information, a police team led by Old Guntur Circle Inspector (CI) Venkata Prasad, under the supervision of East DSP T. Seetharam, conducted a raid in Old Guntur police station limits.The accused were identified as Sheikh Mastan (25) of Anandpet and Sheikh Mastan alias Munna (27) of Allinagar, both residents of Guntur.
