Police arrest man for setting tribal woman on fire in Nellore district

Police arrested an unidentified man for allegedly pouring petrol on a tribal woman and setting her on fire at North Tribal Colony, located within the limits of Kota panchayat in Kota mandal of SPSR Nellore district on Thursday night. The police took the man into custody within hours of the incident.According to the police, the woman was identified as Molakala Sudha (alias Vijayamma). She had been living apart from her husband for several years and was residing with her two children at her mother’s house.
