Poland Uncovers Russian Plot to Kill US-Ukrainian Citizen in Warsaw

Poland’s Internal Security Agency detained a Russian citizen on Aug. 7, accusing him of plotting to kill a US-Ukrainian dual national in Warsaw on behalf of Russian intelligence. Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the operation, carried out with US services, marks the first known case of Russia targeting an American citizen inside a NATO country.
