Plans approved for 75 new homes as part of major development

Plans have been approved for 75 new homes in Erskine. The Cala Homes development, to be known as Blyth Gardens, will provide a "high-quality mix of 57 private houses alongside 18 much-needed affordable apartments, making an important contribution to meeting local housing demand". Renfrewshire Council has signed off the plans, subject to conditions, despite 10 objections from locals. Located on land situated off Florish Road roundabout, plans feature a "well-balanced mix of attractive, energy-efficient homes" including three-bedroom terraced houses, three- and four-bedroom townhouses, and four- and five-bedroom detached properties.
