Detroit Pistons guard Chaz Lanier caught fire from deep in Monday's Summer League game against the New York Knicks.The second-year player out of Tennessee made eight 3-pointers in the 86-75 loss to the Knicks. Lanier led all players with 24 points.Detroit selected the guard with the 37th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. As a rookie last season, he played in 34 games in a depth role. He is still searching for his first career start, but averaged 2.4 points in 7.7 minutes per game.Lanier has shown consistent accuracy from beyond the arc so far in the Pistons' Summer League games.
