People have been urged to fill in a form as a major review of the benefits system moves forward.‌The Government is carrying out a major review of PIP, led by DWP minister Sir Stephen Timms. The benefit provides payments to help people who live with a long term health condition or disability, to cover the extra costs of living with their condition. The review team previously indicated major changes are needed, saying the benefit is "no longer fit for purpose" in their interim report, published in July 2026.‌
