Phivolcs warns of possible phreatic eruptions at Bulusan

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on Tuesday warned of possible “increased chances” of phreatic eruptions over Bulusan Volcano in Sorsogon due to an increase in seismic activity.  Phivolcs noted the rise in seismic activity, where 109 volcanic earthquakes were recorded over the volcano since 12 a.m. on Tuesday, adding
