Peru Names César Luna-Victoria as SUNAT’s New Chief

Peru has named veteran tax lawyer César Luna-Victoria León as the new chief of SUNAT, the national tax and customs authority, days into President Keiko Fujimori's government. He replaces Javier Franco Castillo and inherits a post marked by rapid turnover and a S/ 182 billion collection target.
