Peru Court Archives Criminal-Association Charge Against Nadine Heredia

Peru's judiciary has archived the criminal-association charge against former first lady Nadine Heredia in the Gasoducto Sur Peruano pipeline case. The 3 July 2026 ruling also covered her husband, former president Ollanta Humala, and four former ministers. A separate aggravated-collusion charge in the same case remains pending. The matter is distinct from the Odebrecht money-laundering case, in which Heredia was convicted in April 2025 and later took asylum in Brazil.
