Penumaka farmer offers five acres under LPS for Amaravati project

In a fresh boost to the Amaravati capital city project, the family of Meka Sambi Reddy has voluntarily come forward to contribute five acres of land under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) for the development of the capital.The family, which owns the land in Penumaka village, submitted consent letters to hand over the five-acre parcel to the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) under the land pooling scheme, according to an official release issued on Friday. The documents were handed over to APCRDA Additional Commissioner Kollabathula Karthik at the authority’s headquarters in Rayapudi. Special Deputy Collector A. G. Chinnikrishna was present.Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sambi Reddy and his family said they were happy to become partners in the construction of Amaravati
