Peacock Drops First Look at Hugh Laurie and Amy Poehler in ‘Dig’ From Mike Schur and J.J. Philbin
Logo text Peacock has unearthed a first look and premiere date for its new series Dig, starring Amy Poehler and Hugh Laurie. The 10-episode comedy series from co-showrunners and executive producers Mike Schur and J.J. Philbin and Universal Television will debut on the streamer Nov. 23. Based on the novel Excavations by Kate Myers, the series follows a team of dedicated archaeologists (and less-dedicated college students) as they spend a summer working on a dig site in Greece. Their discovery of a rare artifact sends them on the adventure of a lifetime. Poehler plays one of the key archaeologists, while Laurie stars as Neville, a British professor who loves archaeology.
