Pardhi gang member held in Shankarpally for alleged involvement in 11 burglaries

Shankarpally police arrested a 20-year-old alleged member of a Pardhi gang who was reportedly involved in a series of burglaries targeting locked houses and shop shutters in Shankarpally, BDL Bhanur, Gajwel and surrounding areas over the past six months.The accused was identified as Rahul Vijay Pawar, a labourer from Aurangabad district of Maharashtra who was staying under a bridge at Tolichowki in Hyderabad. Police said he had been absconding in connection with the cases.Acting on information about his movements, a Shankarpally police team conducted reconnaissance and apprehended Pawar near Shankarpally Railway Station at around 8.30 a.m. on August 29.During interrogation, police said Pawar confessed to his involvement in 11 burglary cases.
