Palnadu district draft electoral roll lists 15.49 lakh voters

Palnadu district has a total of 15,49,802 electors, according to the draft electoral roll released by District Collector and District Election Officer Kritika Shukla on Friday as part of the Election Commission of India’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme.The draft roll was released in the presence of representatives of recognised political parties, and copies were distributed to the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) of all Assembly constituencies in the district.The district has 7,58,339 male electors, 7,91,312 female electors and 151 transgender electors.Ms. Shukla said 1,91,996 names were deleted during the verification of Absent, Shifted, Dead and Duplicate (ASDD) electors.
